Yamano-kyo Gorge (Momiji Bridge)

This gorge actually consists of two gorges--Ryuzu and Emmei--surrounded by the gentle mountains of the Chugoku region. There are many scenic spots including “Ryuzu-no-taki” with the dynamic water falling from a height of about 60 meters, and “Yondan-no-taki,” which comprises a succession of four different falls. The Emmei gorge has a campsite that can accommodate 500 people, where one can enjoy the outdoor life amid the richness of nature.
