Heikedani(The Heike clan valley) Camellia garden

The garden with the Tsubaki (camellia) gate and the moat at the entrance has small streams and waterfalls inside, where in early spring about 500 camellias in 400 varieties--collected from all over Japan—dot the valley with their fragrant blossoms.

Transportation : Take the bus bound for "Yokokura" from Tomotetsu bus boarding gate No.14 in front of the JR Fukuyama station to the “Kamiyokokura” bus stop. Approximately 15 minutes on foot from the bus stop.
Period : March - late April 9:00 - 17:00
Regular Holiday : May to February
Fare : 500 yen for adults, 200 yen for primary/junior high school students (Discount 10% for a group of 20 persons or more)
Parking : Available.
