Numakuma Bunkakan (Edahirotei Residence)
This is the residence of the Edahiro family, which was engaged in medical treatment for three successive generations from the end of the Edo era. It has become the citizens’ reception room, which conveys the feelings of wabi (austere refinement) and sabi (quiet simplicity) nostalgically associated with the "good old days." Tea ceremonies at flower viewing or moon watching are held here, and this house also offers moments of serenity as a gallery of art and culture.
