Bingo Ankokuji-Temple
Founded in the 1270s (during the Kamakura era), and later renamed “Ankokuji” by Takauji Ashikaga in the South and North Courts period of the late 14th century. Shakado (Buddha Hall), the wooden statues of Amida Nyorai Triad, and the wooden statue of a seated priest, Hoto Kokushi, in the hall are designated national important cultural properties.
