A famous horse based on this racecourse was “Rosenhomer," and the high-stakes race named after that horse (Rosenhomer memorial) is held. As a high-stakes race for swift Arabian horses, the Tamatsubaki memorial is also held. Additionally, there was once an exchange race called “Sanyo-hai,” held together with the Hyogo Prefecture Racing Horse Association (Sonoda and Himeji racecourses).
