This suburban zoo is located 17 km northwest of Fukuyama City. Now home to approximately 380 animals, it’s very popular with families and groups.

Transportation : Approximately 40 minutes by bus from JR Fukuyama station to the "Dobutsu-en Mae" bus stop, followed by a two-minute walk. Approximately 10 minutes from Fukuyamahigashi/nishi Interchanges on the Sanyo Expressway.
Period : 9:00 - 16:30
Regular Holiday : Tuesdays (if Tuesday is a national holiday, closed the following Wednesday)
Fare : 300 yen for adults (older than 15 years)
